Adjustable Air Amplifiers

adjustable-aluminum-air-amplifier

PRODUCT OVERVIEW

Nex Flow™ Air amplifiers are a simple, inexpensive devices with virtually no maintenance that can convey fumes, smoke, lightweight materials and move a high volume of air for cooling, blowoff and drying applications. They use the “coanda effect” which entrains a large amount of surrounding air using only a small amount of compressed air. The effect is an amplification of up to 17 times the airflow or more (depending on the size) with reduced noise levels.

APPLICATIONS

  • Vent welding smoke
  • Cool hot parts
  • Dry wet parts
  • Clean machined parts
  • Distribute heat in molds/ovens
  • Ventilate confined areas
  • Dust collection
  • Exhaust tank fumes

ADVANTAGES

  • Compact, lightweight, portable
  • No electricity
  • No moving parts – no maintenace
  • Ends are easily ducted
  • Instant on/off

Air Consumption

Anodized aluminum adjustable Air Amplifiers come with three standard outlet (outside) diameters: 1-1/4″ (31mm), 2″ (51mm), 4″ (200mm). Other sizes available upon request.
Come standard with a .002″ (.05mm) gap. If greater air force is required, the gap is adjustable.

Adjustable Air Amplifier Ducting

Both the inlet (vacuum intake) and discharge ends may be ducted for light material and fume conveying applications. Care must be taken to avoid unnecessary restrictions that will cause back pressure or suction resistance that will reduce performance levels. Keep back pressure and resistance to under 2″ of water column.
